Staff Selection Commission Southern Region (SSCSR) Chennai has released an employment notification to fill up 07 posts of Technical Superintendent (Processing/Weaving), Textile Designer and Technical Assistant (Wildlife Preservation).Candidates having required qualifications may apply through prescribed application form on or before 24th August 2015.

Scale of Pay:
1.Textile Designer : PB-II Rs 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs 4200/-
2.Technical Superintendent : PB-II Rs 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs 4200/-
3.Technical Assistant : PB-I 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs 2800/-
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 30 years for Technical Superintendent & Textile Designer and 25 years for Technical Assistant as on 24.08.2015.
Education Qualification:
1.Technical Superintendent (Processing) : Candidate must hold four years Bachelor's Degree in Textile Processing or Textile Chemistry or B.E. / B.Tech in Textile Processing or Textile Chemistry from a recognized University or Institute.
2.Technical Superintendent (Weaving) : Candidate must hold Bachelor's Degree in Textile Technology or 3 years Diploma in Handloom Technology or Handlooms and Textile Technology from a recognized University or Institute.
3.Textile Designer : Bachelor's Degree in Textile Design or Fine Arts with Textile Designs as a subject from a recognized University or Institute.
4.Technical Assistant (Wildlife Preservation) : Candidate must hold Master Degree in Science in Zoology.
Application Fee : Application fee charges are Rs.50 which should be pay in the form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) which are available in the all post office
